The Treasure. The Processional Monstrance

This, by Enrique de Arfe (bora in Harfi, near Cologne), is a marvel of metalwork. Commissioned by the Chapter, the German elaborated it in silver, in Gothic style, to house the ostensory or inner monstrance, in gold, which belonged to Isabella of Castile. The work was completed in 1524.
